I must admit I was underwhelmed by what I read. I was expecting a Canadian version of Nazi death camps. Judging from the stories that came after the discovery of buried children in 2021 at the Kamloops Residential School. The only time I came across abused children was on the front and back cover. Other than it was pretty disappointing. I liked the personal accounts of the students bringing to life what it was like.
