This book takes an inside look at the National Forensic Academy and the various elements of forensic science taught there (including but not limited to: fingerprinting, forensic photography, entomology, arson investigation, blood spatter, trace evidence, etc.). The authors at times come across as egocentric but nevertheless, it is an interesting, although brief, tour of the details involved in crime scene investigation. Not the best book for hard research, but a worthwhile read for anyone seeking an overview of the discipline.… (mehr)
