A useful book for the novice artist (as well as older senile ones) who may know what they want, but have forgotten what it's called!
Items are listed alphabetically, and their functions described, often with a little illustration alongside.

I must remember, the word is:

Pantograph (not, Enlarging spider!!!)
Pounce Wheel (not, Spikey Pizza Cutter thingy) ;)

Their is plenty of good advice and helpful hints. See this example:

'If you have trouble controlling the loose dust when using pastels, try tilting your easel slightly forward so that the "fall out" will drop away from the surface of the drawing'

As you can see, it may not be the most essential book out of the entire Walter T. Foster range, unless you've never visited an art shop and are buying all your art supplies on mail order; but nice to have all the same.… (mehr)
