This book is much needed in today's culture, both Christian and secular. The hurried pace of our lives and the constant pressure of hustle culture has killed the spiritual life of most people in the Western world. We all feel the pressure to do more, be more, see more, etc. In a world of voices telling us to move faster and accomplish more, John Mark Comer's book acts as a still, small one to call us back to the way of Jesus, who lived a simple life, a quiet life for the most part, and a measured/intentional life.
