As Chamberlain heads to meet with Hitler in Munich, James prepares to face his parents and give them some difficult news. Meanwhile, the prospect of a return to war acts as a timely reminder to make the most of life while you can. But James's agenda is derailed by an emergency with the Alderson's pregnant mare, Candy. This series is just so interesting, Foyle is now working for the Intelligence Service and having to deal with politics as well as investigating things that have ramifications outside of the small sphere of Hastings. Everything from Corupt Nazi Businessmen and the companies that survived afterwards; Palestine and Israel comng into Conflict and the truth about some of the missions some people were sent on in France along with character developments and some very interesting interviews about the true history that informed the episodes.
The actors are great in their roles and the characters really made me feel for them. I'm sorry it's all over.

This series just keeps knocking it out of the park. Entertaining and engaging the characters never fail to keep me interested.
Foyle is now working with MI5 alongside Sam while her husband is running for election. These three episodes bring up post-war and cold war issues. Clever and entertaining.

Luke Pasqualino is hot, for sure, and the action scenes are good. There is humour and what not. But mostly, it just made me want to listen to the book via LibriVox.
