Filled with tips on quickly capturing what's of interest in a scene. Many tips are similar to the 5 minutes sketching: architecture by another author. I guess because sketching quickly, no matter the subject, uses similar techniques. No earth shattering revelations, but a good solid inspiration book.

I like that there are lots of different artists and different styles as examples, the authors always show you that for each goal you have, there are different ideas/styles/techniques you can try and the book encourages you to experiment and play.
I wouldn't have been against a tiny bit more technical explanations (ex: more techniques about pencil drawing maybe), but there were a few of them and some useful concepts.
It was a great little book to read and I'll be working on the challenges. I've done one so far and it was great! And most importantly, I feel inspired to get out of my comfort zone and experiment more with my sketches. And to try to translate some tips into my digital art practice.
The book felt relaxing to read, as if I was in the flow from drawing, by just analysing the art and thinking about the tips.
