Looking at the creation and history of the Liberal Party of Australia, Henderson keeps us entertained as he reports on (sometimes from personal history) the characters and eccentrics that dot Australian politics (to use but one example, that HV Evatt insited on taking a parachute with him on any flight, commercial or otherwise, he took).
