I have whiplash! I had to skim most of this after about 30%. The h is TFSTL....a neon sign probably couldn't have convinced her that her "boyfriend" was a controlling, abusive, asshole! Lainey is the daughter of an MC president, her brother is part of the MC, and she is in love with the VP of the MC. She is surrounded by BADASS bikers who love the little "princess" BUT, she can't tell them about the terrible abuse because the abuser is blackmailing her. OH.....and, she can't put them all at risk or hurt her family, blah, blah, blah, frustrating blah! Anyway, after being a punching bag door mat for most of the book she finally grows a spine towards the end. Who does she take it out on then? Yes, the man who loves her and would have helped her if she would have just said something! It's ALL his fault. The only good part of this book is the love story between her and Mik.....when she isn't blaming him for all that's gone awry in her pathetic life. I can't read anymore of these.....don't want to pay good money for a book I have to skim. UGH.....wish I could get back the hours I spent the last couple days reading this.… (mehr)
