I chose this book for my alternate reading assignment in my Biological Anthropology class this past semester, and it's fascinating. This is a fabulous, very interesting book. Jablonski covers everything from the evolution of skin in various animals, skin color, and senses to cultural differences and skin ornamentation. If you have any interest in these topics, you will love this book. It's very scientific and factual, but written in a way that is easily accessible to those without a strong science background.
