This story did a lot to set things up for the rest of the series. Shannon aka Shots and his little family are forced to prostitute themselves just to barely get by. The aliens and the government have traded technology for space to live and societies castoffs as possible mates. I enjoyed this sweet short where Shannon bonds with Alimund through several exchanges of bodily fluid from saliva to Alimund's purple cum. The couple's first encounter scared the hell out of Shots as Alimund's cum acted like a kind of drug. Shots did not know at the time that an uncompleted bond would kill the handsome and kindly Alimund. There was a long, hot sex-a-thon and the two are now bonded and hopes run high for healing the dying Derek with a Narsoreal bond of his own. The story has its high and low points but it's got an interesting concept behind it which makes it very much worth reading.… (mehr)

At 18 and still a virgin Joel is the youngest of Derek's small family. With Shannon and Derek paired off with their perfect mates, Alimund announces that he has found Joel's bond mate. This story made me laugh and was the best one so far. I loved how Joel came just by having the huge Odard kiss him and then Odard calling Joel his cum flower. Odard's not being able to change was a nice change from Joss and Alimund. I thought that the Independence Ritual was perfect and it sure made a statement at the Christmas party. Nothing's Missing Now was written for the M/M Romance group's 2013 Love Has No Boundaries picture prompt event. The prompt is a picture of a buff tattooed man with a prostheic limb.



Liam is having a hard time adjusting to life after returning home from the war. He's lost a leg, scars traverse his body and he suffers from PTSD. He thinks of himself as undesirable and disgusting. The one good thing going in his life that can make him smile is Ray, who he hopes he can soon call his boyfriend although Liam is frightened to reveal all of himself to Ray.

What can I say about Ray but that man is a saint. He's infinitely patient, optimistic and helpful. He's exactly what Liam needs. Now all Liam needs, is to trust Ray enough to give himself to Ray.

We come into the story on the day that Liam and Ray's relationship takes a significant step and they grow even closer. I loved the characters and I had no problems feeling for them. The author did a great job with character development and the pacing of the story. A lot was told in this short and it was all very believable to me.

I enjoyed Nothing's Missing Now very much and I think it deserves 5 Stars.
