Saul Kassin

Social Psychology, 10E by Saul M. Kassin was probably one of the better text books I have read. First and foremost it did an excellent job of explaining concepts in ways that were easy to grasp. In fact there were several different concepts discussed in this book that I have learned about multiple times throughout the years and yet it wasn't until reading about them again in this book that I really felt like I gained a full understanding of them.

Second, it had lots and lots of studies and research cited throughout and wonderful info graphic depictions of the information from these studies. These were some of the easiest to read graphs, depicting very intriguing information.

Finally, I loved how much focus was placed on bringing in a multicultural aspect to every single chapter instead of just making a standalone chapter to discuss the multicultural aspects in social psychology. And extending from this point, I also loved how not only were very important and classic research and experiments discussed, but a lot of new and timely information as well.… (mehr)
