An interesting overview of how color was discussed in Classical and Medieval times. There was discussion of color names and what they referred to - for instance, in some times, any dark color was identified as "black." There was discussion of how color was used in dying cloth, in painting, colored possessions and color in public places. A survey volume of an area I had rarely even considered.
