It contains great simple recipes which are fast and varied enough to get a lot of mileage out of this little book. There is nothing particularly exciting but it is a good general Mexican cookbook and very small so it doesn’t take up much space.
Great cookbook for the vegetarian looking to bring more versatility to their cooking repertoire. If you weren't raised a vegetarian, and I wasn't, than cutting the meat out also cuts alot of cooking options out, at least I thought so. I tried to fill the gaps using tofu, but the problem was I didn't really know many or even the best way to prepare it. I saw this on the shelf while making a pass through a book store and picked it up on a lark, and I'm very glad I did. I've gotten the chance to try several of the recipes and they've all come out great. My favorites are the shephard's pie and the sweet and sour tofu.… (mehr)
