Patricia Clark Kenschaft is professor emerita of mathematics at Montclair State University, where she was a professor of mathematics for thirty-two years. The mother of two grown children, Pat Kenschaft has taught mathematics to hundreds of elementary school children. I don't seem to be part of the target audience, since both my children and I love math, but I have worked with children and adults who initially thought they didn't like math. Pat Kenschaft's book is filled with insight, common sense, good humor and good suggestions.
