An enjoyable read. The characters were likeable and the plot moved along smoothly. I didn't think it unusual that a spinster would take a job as a governess but the story says otherwise. Her only options were to live with her sister, marry a man who needed a mother for his children or take a job. I might have taken the job too. Received free from the author.
