This book didn't pull me in as much as the first book in the series, but I still enjoyed reading it. Zoners shows us another perspective of futuristic Detroit, the Zone, where technology and digital communications are almost nonexistent. It features some of the same great characters from the first book as well as many new ones too. It's interesting to see how characters from very different walks of life interact with each other. There's plenty of action throughout the story, and the pages (and time) seem to fly by.… (mehr)

Sleepless is the 4th book in the Detroit Next series, which takes place in futuristic Detroit. I’ve read all of the books in the series and loved Sleepless as much as the previous books! I got so immersed in the book that time seemed to fly by. The technologies in the book are unique and interesting, but close enough to our world today that you can relate. I loved the sense of mystery throughout the book, making my own theories about what might have really happened and who was responsible. There’s so many interesting characters, and you have to love the main character, Aidra, because she’s tough but also human. My favorite character throughout the series is Morris, so it was disappointing that he had a smaller part in this book, but that’s really the worst part of the book! I hope the authors plan to write more books in this series, because I love reading them!… (mehr)
