On Amazon, this was 100% 5-star rated. I guess I beg to differ.
This is a short book, a 149 page novella, and a very quick read - not just because of its length but also there's no depth. On any measure - characters, their thoughts, the details behind what was happening - the level is veneer thin. This is not necessarily a bad thing - just understand this and you'll likely enjoy the read. I did although I'm sure I'll forget it soon.
BTW the end is somewhat inconclusive and begs for a follow-up?… (mehr)
