Chelsey Krause

I really liked this. It was really a straight up best friend/romance, with the subplot of the MC searching for her birth mother. It could have been boring and lost in the details but it was really well done and fun to read. I liked the characters so much and it was obvious that despite Casey's reputation, he was completely head over hills for Natalie the whole time. I enjoyed reading about their romance. It wasn't too heavy and was very heart felt.

I'd definitely read another book by Chelsey Krause!

This is a difficult one for me to review. I liked the premise of the story, the writing was descriptive and well done, the characters were interesting but I finished feeling like there was just something missing. Perhaps it was the pace of the story, it seems a little drawn out to me, but it just never had to moment where I just had to know what would happen next. It goes through the a time in the life of a young woman who is stuck in the past and is afraid to step into the future for fear of being hurt again. When she starts to fall in love again she knows she needs to change but can't quite figure out how. It's a very sweet romance and if you enjoy those stories that really dive deep into the characters day to day happenings then this may be for you.… (mehr)
