I received this book as an ebook free from the author through LibraryThing in exchange for an honest review. The book is about a debate about religion between two friends, one a Christian and the other an atheist. This book really made me think about religions in the world, our religious practices, and whether God really exists. I’d like to know more about what happens and what each character decides as the ending was sort of “a draw” with an interesting business proposal and a very interesting counter proposal. I did enjoy reading this book and found it challenging.… (mehr)
We were at the point 3/4 of the way through when I was sick and tired of the crap going on in the "conversation" here. I got irritated. It was tough enough reading through the inability for the author to functionally edit, but the banter became annoying. The arguments were good. It was just crap in between. For me it went from "Oh banter. How cute!" to "Oh hell. More banter crap!"

Feeling unsatisfied with the ending of the classic book “A Taste For Game” the author explores the different ways that the book could have had a more satisfying ending. It's a courageous thing to do. I've been told reading the original book is a rite of passage for young people. The new endings are fast paced and exciting. There are many uprising twists in the plot. Whether it's a better ending is for the reader to decide. I enjoyed both endings and wasn't able to pick a favourite.

This book was hard to put down. The characters were relatable and the discussion of the age old question is one I have had with friends myself. I enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more from the author (maybe a sequel??).
