History of Wyoming von Taft Alfred Larson
2418 History of Wyoming Second Edition, Revised, by T. A. Larson (read 7 Nov 1991) I have read some good state histories (North Dakota, Nevada, Virginia) so I decided to read this 1978 book. The first half of the book was excellent and I enjoyed the reading, but Wyoming really doesn't have a very interesting 20th century history and the author is an uninspired writer, so I thought the second half of the book very plodding and pedestrian. Of course Wyoming is a small population state, but so are Nevada and North Dakota. I'm glad I read this book but it is not well put together.… (mehr)
