The Netherfield Ball has come and done, and Darcy with the Bingleys have returned to town. On the spur of the moment Darcy rides back to Longbourn to propose marriage to Elizabeth Bennet. He is rejected.
This is Darcy's point of view on how he can persuade Lizzy to marry him. Not a lot of angst in this version I didn't care much for Darcy singing, and would have probably liked more of the bad Wickham and Caroline, but just about enough interest.

With this sequel to Tempt You to Accept Me, it is now the time to read Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam story (be still my beating heart). On a months holiday from his regiment it is his intention to enjoy himself. Then at Almanack one evening he meets Augusta Hawthorne, who at 29, has decided that her position is now to chaperone her niece.
A very enjoyable variation but then I am a Colonel fan.

Miss Jane Bennet has gone to stay with the Gardiners hoping to meet Mr Charles Bingley while in town. As he had left Netherfield leaving behind a broken hearted Jane. Some years have passed for James Morland, is it enough time to mend his broken heart. Can he find a lady who will accept a curate.
Am enjoyable story

In this variation the unchaperoned time spent in the library with Darcy at Netherfield has become known and Elizabeth's reputation is ruined. Gossip is spread and Darcy and Elizabeth must marry. But the gossip is constant. Part 2 and 3 are mainly about the marriage and therefore not of interest to me.
