I am a big believer in eating finger food, the less preparation the better, microwave, versus stove. This fits the bill. The histores of the foods is especially good.

This is a great book for examining the details of your life and making those small changes that add up over time. Green cleaning, beauty products and household items are discussed. It has both recipies if you are a do-it-yourself type or product recommendations if you would rather go green at the store.

The lists are useful, especially for commercially available products, but because I try to use locally produced products when possible it is not exhaustive. What makes this book so valuable is the analysis of individual ingredients, so that I can make my own informed choices. I need to return it to the library, but will take it out again sometime, and maybe consider buying it as a resource.
