Elsie is a downstairs maid who sees her master and his mistress in the summer house. Later that night she discovers she was seen but Cecelia, the mistress, explains how she can make more money by becoming an artistic model. Going to the photographers Cecelia tells her of, they take photographs of her that are risque. When the photos are discovered later, she is dismissed from her position. She then goes to Edward and Walter's photography shop. They are pleased because they can take more photos of her. They also have more plans for her. Will she stay with them?

I enjoyed this story. I wish it was not just the first story of the series because I'm not sure I can get the rest of the series. I liked Elsie, Edward, and Walter. Not too crazy about the rest of the characters. Too judgmental. Elsie is hesitant but Edward and Walter show her how her photographs will be her gateway to stage and screen. She wants that. She also discovers she likes what they want her to do. This is hot and erotic.… (mehr)
