This book is largely based on Chinese tradition, interlaced with my own experience and that of other European doctors, practicing acupuncture.
The course, function and symptomotology of the 59 meridians, which constitute the basis of classical Chinese Acupuncture are portrayed in detail. In addition, the traditional Chinese physiology and pathology of the twelve main groups of internal organs are described. These conceptions have been correlated with the ideas of Western scientific medicine wherever possible. There are 53 full page drawings.
Dr. Felix Mann, President of the Medical Acupuncture Society, is one of the outstanding Western practitioners of the ancient Chinese art, which he has been using for some years in London.
