I thought this book was interesting because it was an informational book written on the life of our current president, Barack Obama. I enjoyed reading this to get some insight into his background, because this helps me understand why he does some of the things he does. I like how in the beginning pages, the book is broken down into a table of contents because I am able to skim this table of contents to get an idea of what the book is about before even reading it. Plus, it helps me find certain information quicker than if I had to flip through the entire book. I like how there is a continuous timeline on the bottom of the page that adds more information as his life proceeds onward. I feel like the actual pictures of Obama and his family, throughout the book, really draws the reader into the information that is being presented. I like how each picture has a brief caption of what the picture is about to make sure the reader really understands what is happening in the picture. The heading at the top of each section make it easy to separate the information by specific categories. I enjoy the page, towards the end of the book that has a write up of quick facts. This is a helpful resource that I could use when looking for specific information.… (mehr)
