An multigenerational army man shoots and kills the husband of a very close family friend, who also happens to be his superior officer in Iraq. Captain Paul Terry sacrifices his private sector opportunity to defend him, and is drawn into a very twisted tale. Good trial segments.

Een prachtig klein verhaal van eenmaal doodzieke vrouw die eindelijk haar grote liefde vindt en daar nog een week of 3 mee kan doorbrengen voordat ze tè ziek wordt en naar het ziekenhuis het om te sterven. Ontroerend.

This was a so -so story. Parts were great and engrossing, particularly the sensitive treatment of PTSD and the tragedies faced by our troops in Iraq. On the negative side, some heavy-handed repeated mentions of Catholicism (not sure how this fit in). It does have a good 'surprise' ending.

Excellent listen - good plot, more complicated than you initially think plot, and a reasonably unhappy ending. Probably a better story to listen to than to read.
Every character has his/her faults - no hero and few "real" villains.
