A review of Under Cover by Jenna Gunn, a novella in the Not Over You anthology:

Another New Life von Sydney Aaliyah Michelle

This has a dark background to the story dealing with abuse.
I am not sure what to say, when the hero finds out he says some awful things and my first reaction was dislike as you feel for the heroine but in some ways it's more realistic, it's a shock, he's hurt, she has kept it from him, which you can understand but at the same time for there to be a future it needed to be addressed.
I would have liked to see more of him and her with the therapist to work their issues out.

Anxious Love (Love Sick, #1) von Sydney Aaliyah Michelle

This is the first book I've read by this author but it definitely won't be the last! This isn't just a cute little romance, this is a BOOK! There is a difference and Ms. Michelle knows how to write a BOOK. Yes, there's romance and hot sex but there is also a great story with all kinds of themes running through it (fame, rejection, rape, anxiety, suicide, friendship, family, love, guilt...you name it it's in here). The main characters are real with all of their issues and flaws and you can't help but root for them. The supporting characters are wonderful too. They have so much depth to them and hopefully we'll get to read more about them in later books. Can't wait to see what comes next in this series.

Let it Breathe von Sydney Aaliyah Michelle

This was a quick read but really good. NFL player, Donovan, meets Chai, a winery manager and they quickly connect. The next day Donovan attends an investment fair where Chai is speaking and looking for investors. Naturally there are misunderstandings on both sides as money and pride are involved. The romance is sweet, the sex is hot and the story is very entertaining. Nice work Ms. Michelle.

I was given this book for an honest review.
