Some interesting ideas that could have used more pages to do the story justice.
I am still not sure what this was all about. I guess it was OK until the point where Basil gave away his vessel (I counted 13 "vessels" in a 43 page book). After that: had hard time finishing; didn't care for the characters and even less for the secondary characters, couldn't follow the events or the dialog. Smoke and blur. 1.5 stars.
Some interesting ideas that could have used more pages to do the story justice.
