Review for Baby, It's Cold Outside by Kimberly Ann - a part of the anthology.

"I want to stay. I want to see what it's really like to be accepted by a small town and a beautiful woman. That is, if she'll forgive me for being the worst Grinch that ever lived on Christmas Day."

A bit rushed at the end. On the sweet side. Very little note of the racial difference.

Gift of Air by C.L. Carhart: Allow a long afternoon for this NC17 Teutonic paranormal coming-of-age forbidden romance set in the Tyrol of Austria nonlinearly from Christmas 1954 to midsummer 1955. I had an ARC of just this story via Bookfunnel and this is my voluntary review.

This review is for the below story only
Sensation of the Seas by Ashlyn Chase
Contemporary erotic romance.
Vicki signs a contract to work on a cruise ship for 8 months. At 23, she’s ready to be independent, responsible for her own actions and maybe have a bit of an adventure. No more climbing out a window just to go to a party or on a date.
A new fitness trainer joins the cruise ship and while Vicki has been warned to stay away from the Rom, he’s so hot and compelling that she can’t stay away. Turns out he’s her destiny. At least that’s what the Gypsy man says.
Vicki and Miklos can’t keep their hands off each other. It’s immediate lust and need and once Miklos gets a commitment from Vicki, they continually seek out private places on and off the ship to give each other as many organisms as possible.

Is it truly destiny or is there a bit of magic involved? Steamy, sexy and satisfying.
4.5½

Review of "Call Me... Maybe" by Mellanie Szereto

"This was super short story and funny to read. Scarlet was a disaster lol but Nelson was perfect for her. Their first encounter was unconventional but... isn't that how the greatest love stories always start? Jusy saying!"

This anthology contains "Call Me...Maybe" by Mellanie Szereto. Scarlet is a former rocket scientist turned mechanic in her fifties. She wants fun not love. Nelson wants to talk to her about his daughter but gets caught up by her. Will they both get what they want? Fun and love.

Review for That's What She Shed by Melonie Johnson

I am a fan of this author. This newest short story did not disappoint. It read like a full-length novel. It is refreshing to read a story where the main characters are older and not twenty somethings. Plus, Tasha and Nate show that your hair may have more "silver" in it, but it can still be spicy in the bedroom.

I had such a fun time reading this book. All the innuendos not to mention the stuff that would come out of Tasha's mouth. In addition, to all of her best women friends Heather, Kristy, Lauren, and Sari. This story will have you thinking into "silver foxes". This short story by Melonie Johnson is A-Plus!

A Page Turner

This collection is filled with stories by authors I haven't read yet. I am starting with Adrienne Ruvalcaba, then Sage Young and Lavern Thompson.

I love, love, love, Phoenix and am looking forward to enjoying this collection of paranormal stories. I don't really do shifters, but this seems fun and sexy.

Just a Little Fling is a contemporary, interracial romance featuring an Italian businessman who falls in love with an African American woman vacationing in Italy. The story paints a beautiful picture of Italy with wonderful attention to detail given to chronicling the places Nia and Luciano visit as they get to know each other.

Their chemistry and camaraderie is readily believable, despite their short courtship. Their passion is also believable from the beginning and it seemed perfectly logical that they would fall hard for each other in the end. This is truly a wonderful and romantic story that will appeal to anyone. It delivers on romance, passion, great story telling and fun and memorable characters.

Nia Ashford is vacationing alone in Rome on what should have been her honeymoon, until her ex-fiancé left her at the altar for her best friend. Distraught and disillusioned, Nia decides to enjoy all Italy has to offer including the gorgeous men. Her first night she propositions hotelier Luciano Fertelli, but might be in for more than she bargained for based on their explosive first kiss.
