A fascinating discussion of what it means to view a group of people as 'other'. This books takes the form of dialogues between four people - two native Lithuanians and two visiting Americans, one of whom is a professor of anthropology. As an Australian living in Austria I found a lot that resonated with me and my experiences and my thought processes. An engaging book.
