Nadia Nichols

A wedding planner inherits 1/2 of her grandfather's business - a remote fishing retreat in Labrador Canada. She doesn't have the $$ to buy out the partner and the fishing lodge isn't worth the mortgage for construction until the summer season is done. So, nothing else to do but stay & learn how to run things with an abrasive, handsome partner.

a good book and a fast read

Loved it! Lots of story and not all jumping in bed to burn up a few pages. I'm always a bit ashamed to have things like this show up on my Read shelf because of the whole "romance" thing. This was a great read about life with sled dogs and the rest was just a happy ending.

I found this a very well written romance. The female main character has cancer, and I think the subject was treated very well. The characters were real, with real failings, but those failings were not taken to the extreme like they are in some books.
I'd recommend it if you like contemporary romance, even if Harlequins aren't your normal thing.
