No Longer a Nobody is about a boy who thinks he is a nobody because he doesn't have a pet to bring to the school pet fair. That, of course, was before he found Slowpoke, his snail, and had to figure out how to take care of him. This book is a very good realistic fiction for discussing self worth in a Christian setting, such as a private school or a Sunday school classroom. It would also be good for introducing and assignment on pets or a pet fair like held in the book. It is written in the fantasy genre.

Beautiful story of Sammy and his pet snail Slowpoke. Sammy thinks he is a nobody, but he learns that he is never a nobody to God.
