An extremely handy compilation of names organized by gender, nationality, religious, and a few less obvious categories. I dip into it pretty regularly for character names when I'm writing fiction. Occasional I'll also leaf through it for foal names, but I haven't been quite as successful with those.

I like this baby name book, since it covers names from all around the world, not just the western ones in so many of the baby name books I'd seen before. Very comprehensive - it's a big, thick book. Recommended, especially for ethnic names. I've also found it useful when choosing names for my fictional characters.
