This is a superhelpful and convenient guide to Brooklyn, based on a series of thirty mapped walks. The maps are essential, since they show you exactly where to go to see the places discussed in the text. And the walks are very well constructed, giving a sense of each of the many areas covered. The text gives you subway directions on how to get where you are going (don't take a car, whatever you do) and mentions stores and eating places. Some of those will have closed, but others will probably have appeared in their places. Finally, the book is small enough to fit conveniently into a small "carry bag".… (mehr)
