Anita Paddock

I am a fan of true crime novels but this one just did not do it for me at all. The author promises Sins, Sex and Murder and delivers a story about a murdered mother and her homosexual son who was basically harassed by the police and tried in the court of public opinion for being gay, pretty much. I didn't see the ending coming because, well, there wasn't much attention given to anyone but the son. This story was heartbreaking. It could have been written so much better too. I hope one day someone sees this book and decides to write this one up coming from a different angle. I'd like to read that book. This one, you could pass on it and be just as happy.… (mehr)
