Niko Perren

A fascinating sci-fi thriller that uses science, politics, space, and massive superstorm climate change as it's backbone. There's very little traditional genre action and this is to its benefit; I found myself engrossed in the fascinating problems of these characters, generated not through manufactured drama or expected violent conflict, but instead through smart people trying to solve difficult problems.

Highly recommended. I read this years ago and still think about it.
