MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
I am enjoying these books in the Sumalie Island series and this one was just as enjoyable as the others I have read. Tropical Target starts off with Detective Noa Tanielu trying to find who is stealing items from weddings taking place on the island. And though this Island is famous for its weddings, but maybe not for long if these thefts going on. Being new on the Island, all fingers pointed to the wedding photographer in town. Get ready for a most enjoyable journey as the ups and downs of this case comes to light.

Tension is rising on this island as the case continues. I think author Jennifer Pierce does a really nice job researching and writing this story. I was hooked within the first few pages. The island people didn’t know how to function with this case hot on the wedding photographer’s trail. There is a lot of action and mystery here that will sure keep you reading the book pretty fast till the end. The vivid details describing the island are fabulous and makes me want to go for a visit. We’ll, except for the expensive living there. The details of the case were interesting, and I didn’t figure out Whodunit until it was revealed. Sometimes, I figure them out, but not this one! I highly recommend this book if you enjoy wedding stories with a twist. This is one you won’t forget for a while. I’m giving Tropical Target by Jennifer Pierce four stars.

A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.

What I think you should know:
Tropical Target, a Christian Suspense by Jennifer Pierce is the eighth book in the Suamalie Islands series. The series is Contemporary Christian Fiction set on a fictional set of Islands in the Pacific. The series is written by several authors with stories that have the common connection of the Islands. In this book we go to Le Cadeau Ile to meet Island resident Noa Tanielu and newcomer Haley Marsh.

What you might need to know:
A Murder does take place at the beginning of the book.

What I think about this book:
This book is definitely not on Island Time! From the first scene to the last it was filled with intrigue and suspense. It was very fun to watch Noa from the moment he found Haley with a body until the end of the story. Haley has come to the Islands for a new stary, but I don’t think this is what she wanted. I really enjoyed the fast pace of this story, but appreciate how the author allowed the characters to interact and grow a relationship. I look forward to more in the series!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Celebrate Lit, this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.

Tropical Target by Jennifer Pierce is part of the Suamalie Islands series and is a Christian Contemporary Suspense novel. After being dumped two days, wedding photographer Haley Marsh moved to the island to nurse her broken heart and start over. When a murder occurs at a wedding she was shooting, she goes from being the main suspect to a witness needing protection.

Detective Noa Tanielu works to find thieves who target weddings and ultimately murder someone. As the two interact, you can not keep reading to see where the author will take you. One of my favorite characters was Noa’s mother – even before I knew she was his mother. The characters’ deep family connections and faith in God make this story worth reading.

So, if you enjoy island-setting stories or Christian Contemporary Suspense novels, check out Tropical Target by Jennifer Pierce for yourself. I definitely recommend it.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.

Oh my is this book a definite thriller. From the first pages we get a glimpse of what is to come. I’ve been to many weddings and never experienced anything like Haley did. Who knew being a wedding photographer was dangerous? I didn’t expect such suspense from this series but I am very pleased with the entire book. I couldn’t wait to see who was behind the thefts and why someone was determined to kill Haley.

After being interrogated Haley is found not to be a suspect but that doesn’t stop the continuous threats and attempts on her life. The detective in charge of the case seems to have taken a special interest in Haley. Noa finds himself in an unlikely predicament when a small miscommunication has his family believing that he and Haley are engaged. He has his hands full investigating while trying to convince his family that there has been a mistake about him being engaged.

The author does such a great job of giving us a story that has intrigue, faith and romance in it that I didn’t want the story to end. I am impressed with the writing skill and how this story was so much fun to read. I will be looking for more books from this author.

I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.
