This terrific resource about shadow weave is sadly out of print. There are actually 1,236 patterns for 4, 6 and 8 shafts. It requires a bit of deciphering to get the profiles and the drafts into a more modern format (see Heddlecraft May/June 2016 for help). Marian Powell developed a new way of threading and treadling shadow weave, now known as the Powell method. There is probably a lifetime of exploration in this book alone and once you have the key to translating a profile to shadow weave, you can explore endlessly on your own.… (mehr)
