While I don't regret buying this item, the reality is that the Specialty Press has a bad habit of producing works that have the quality of high-end scrapbooks, and such is the case here. If you want a focused combat narrative of the Vigilante you're probably better off with the author's number from the Osprey "Combat Aircraft" series; though there are more quality photos, more service anecdotes, and quite a few useful asides about ancillary topics in this publication. I suppose that this book is a group portrait of the community of men who flew this plane more than anything else.… (mehr)
