This is another one that I used to own. I read it some time before 2018 and it was a great collection of Sherlock Holmes vs The Supernatural.
Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Early Reviewers geschrieben.It's odd that such a rational character as Sherlock Holmes lends himself so well to tales of the more fantastical bent. Gaslight Gothic features ten tales of Holmes investigating crimes of a Victorian Gothic bent; although not all of the stories are to my particular taste, they all do a good job of blending the Great Detective and the less rational world of the Gothic.

If you disagree with me and think that Sherlock Holmes and supernatural goes together well, then I'd definitely recommend this collection to you, as I think you will really enjoy the well-crafted stories and inventive ideas. If you are not sure if supernatural belongs in the Holmes world this might not be the book for you.… (mehr)
