A freebie from Amazon and I enjoyed the book. This story is about a man obsessed with this girl. The story takes place in South Africa. The man Tarago is white and the woman Tanin is black/Indian.

Tarago considers Tanin a 5 and takes a bet with his brother. That is what starts this story. I didn't know if I was going to like it but as I read the book I enjoyed it. Tanin is in a relationship and doesn't want anything to do with Tarago. Tarago is rich and sets out to destroy Tanin.

The ending of this book has me wanting to read the next one. I need to see what happens.… (mehr)

If it's one thing that the author is good at, it's writing page turners like this one. The story is almost raw and visceral at times and takes so many twists and turns, I had no idea where it was heading. Such is the author's ability to write of her character's motives in such a real and realistically deceptive way, I actually switched allegiances several times; at some times thinking that one character was the bad guy and then switching again when the character's actions belied their declared intentions. A short book that packs quite the punch!… (mehr)
