Not really what I expected, but was still very interesting! Mostly about how cooperation came about evolutionarily and examples of cooperation in non-human animals.

Good review current thinking about the evolutionary sources of human cooperation (and lack of) and comparisons with a few other social species. I’ve read a lot of this stuff already in other books, I’m interested in the topic, so not much seemed totally unfamiliar. Good writing, not great.
