My sister gave this to me as a gift to remind me to nurture my relationship with one of her sons, my godson. The Godparent Book is a basically a list of ideas of things to strengthen and maintain a meaningful godparent/godchild relationship. I liked how the book not only pays attention to the sacrament of baptism but also being a supportive presence for the godchild in all aspects of his/her life.

I also enjoyed the encouragement to ask a (children's) librarian for help finding relevant resources several times in the book.… (mehr)
