Read during Summer 2005

The begining went very slow but it finally began to pick up steam once it got to the heart of the story, about the bombing of Gestapo headquaters in Copenhagen near the end of World War II. I did get lost in the maze of names at one point but it was a good read. However, I think it is bound for Bookcrossing, as I don't plan to read it again.

This is a quite hard book to get hold of. It is a serious scholarly biography and unless you're interested and know quite a bit about 18th century politics, it's not really going to interest you.

If that is your kind of thing, then I'd recommend trying to get hold of a copy as it really offers an insight into one of our greatest politicians.
