The visuals are amazing. A detailed, colorful, magical journey to help a child mid-tantrum move out of that feeling. A great way to distract, to follow along, to learn and talk about the tools we can use to manage our big feelings. I could read this book over and over. Each page gives delightful surprises and interesting characters.

The illustrations in this one have so much bright detail and character! It reminds me of some graphic novels I have read before. And I love how in the story the dad sees his little girl getting fed up with being inside all day and takes her out for a stroller coaster, all through their neighborhood seeing all the people, animals, shops, and more around them. This one also reminds me of My Papi Has a Motorcycle with how the dad takes his daughter through the neighborhood as a way to bond.

Summary
It was the first day of Spring and Bunny was asleep. Her friend sonny squirrel was calling and woke her up. Sonny had finished his work and came to visit Bunny. Bunny was embarrassed because her house was a mess. She tried to clean before Sonny got there but he came before she finished her cleaning. Sonny was surprised to see her room untidy but they both started cleaning. They had so much fun and laughter while cleaning. when they were all done they went outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather of Spring.

Personal Reaction
I think this is a good story for children as they can learn that it is best to always keep their rooms clean just in case a friend may drop in. It is also good to keep our area clean and be tidy at all times. I found the rhyming aspect of the story quite catchy and interesting. I believe children would love reading this storybook. I alsoloved the watercolors that brought life to the story. I actually felt the coolness of spring as I turned each page. The colorful ambiance brought life to the story.

Extensions
