David L. Roberts

The late David L. Roberts wrote this substantial work on domestic architecture in Lincolnshire before he died in 1997, leaving it completed in outline but unedited. Our approach is to present the author's work as it stands, with editorial comments confined to footnotes, and to supplement it further with a great many photographs. The work is on-going, under the supervision of Marion Roberts and the conservator Mary Anderson, and it will be an important survey of a neglected subject.
