ARC received from LibraryThing Early Reviewers. This was the second in the 'gemstone thriller' series and I haven't read the first one, which is highly unusual for me. The book was less than 200 pages, and the plot moved very quickly. Lots of gore, so not one for the easily grossed out! Probably will not go back and read the first one, or the next one in the series, it just didn't grab me

The book is fairly well written, but I found the level of violence off-putting. It's probably realistic, but I will choose not to read future books by the author in this series.

I had high hopes for this book, the premise sounded interesting but I quickly lost interest. I never finished it - it is now sitting on my shelf waiting for a day when I can try it again. Don't know what the problem was truly - I thinkt aht the characters just never grabbed my interest.

I started this book but could never really get interested.I did not finish the book.Passed on to someone else to read.
