This is a good basic introductory guide to house plants. It covers 50 of the most common and popular house plants in clear, approachable, straightforward prose. I appreciate the author's concept of plants not simply as decor but as friends who deserve good care. The photos and illustrations are excellent, and the plant descriptions are fairly basic but cover all the essentials in a clear and non-intimidating way. Experienced house plant gardeners will likely not learn much new from this book, but I would recommend it if you are getting started with growing house plants.… (mehr)
