Great book. Looking forward to the other novels in the series.
Meh, maybe 2 1/2 - 3 stars? The beginning was okay, the middle dragged. You got a bit tired of Paige and her pretending "pushing the world away" blah blah blah after a while. It's loosely got a Cinderella feel, and even eludes to the fact early on. Leo was pretty awesome, and the HEA was strong...
With fun characters, strong writing and electric chemistry Chasing Desire has everything. Joya Ryan has created a sensual story full of yearning and self discovery. Autumn is neurotic, lonely and trying to prove she is more than peoples perceptions of her. Huck is lonely, wary and seemingly content with jumping from fling to fling. Chasing Desire is a story of acceptance and love between two people that deserve to be happy. Don't forget the heat.

I just want to say that it isn't you it's me. I felt from the beginning that this wouldn't work out. That we were too different, but I wanted to try working it out anyway. I mean, perhaps somewhere along the way we could perhaps find something in common. Perhaps I would be surprised and finding you so much better than I expected you to be.
But I'm sad to inform you that even though you throw in Callum in the story and made him a hot fireman so wasn't that enough for me.I wanted more than you could give me. I have already been through a white millionaire with a bad childhood in a book I read recently and that didn't work out so good either...
I'm sure other readers will find you so much more to their liking than I did. This was just never meant to be.
