Noble Beginnings (Jack Noble, #1) von L.T. Ryan
Should have been titled Noble "Never Began" after reading 30% of this book. This is a total waste to time.
Seems odd but i'll give it a read. And it was good.
I enjoyed reading BLOWBACK by L.T. Ryan. Unlike his other books with Jack, Blowback seemed much more serious without the humorous adlibs that Jack usually makes. Bear is framed for the death of his friends on the island of St. Lucia and is imprisoned. Ryan spends a third of the book following Bear in prison which in itself is filled with twists and turns. He is later sprung by the last person he'd ever consider in exchange for a favor. It turns out to be a rescue mission into North Korea with its own set of problems, twists and turns. The story held my attention until the last page. I'd recommend it to all interested in spy thrillers with guys/gals that kick ass.… (mehr)
